DESCRIPTION:With the renowned choral experts M° Gábor Hollerung and M° Battista Pradal meeting music guarantees the high artistic niveau of the competition as from past events.\nOur organizing team boasts more than 25‐year‐old experience in choral event organization and with much dedication and enthusiasm we are looking forward to presenting to you our own uncompromising standards of service and artistic quality.\nThe international choir competition with its wide range of categories for different standards\, types of choirs and musical genres offers every choir the opportunity to present its current qualities on the international stage. \nBeside the competition itself choirs will again enjoy the opportunity to give concerts together with other ensembles in some of the oldest and most beautiful churches and world‐famous squares (campi) of Venice\, the city of lagoons.\nVenice is a unique blend of water\, art and romance located four kilometers from terra firma and two kilometers from the Adriatic Sea. It is a treasure from the artistic and architectural point of view created more than 1\,000 years ago by men who dared defy the sea.\nThe city of Venice has played an important role in the development of the music of Italy. The medieval Maritime Republic of Venice was often popularly called the “Republic of Music”\, and an anonymous Frenchman of the 17th century is said to have remarked that “In every home\, someone is playing a musical instrument or singing. There is music everywhere”. \nWe cordially invite choirs of all kinds to join us between April 28 – May 2\, 2017 as we celebrate a great festival of\nchoral music in Venice and Caorle. \nPevci KD APZ Celje smo se od 28. 04. do 02. 05. 2017 udeležili 15th International Choir Festival & Competition v Caorle & Venice pod vodstvom dirigentke Katje Florjančič.\nOsvojili smo zlato plaketo v kategoriji mešanih zborov.\nSrečanje pa smo zaključili z mislijo….\nVsi ljubimo in čakamo v življenju trenutke sreče. Ampak tale danes je bil pa prav posebne sorte. Zaradi neizmerne ljubezni do zborovske pesmi in brezpogojne pripadnosti zboru\, nam je uspelo spisati uspeh. Pošteno smo ga potrebovali\, tudi zato\, ker se imamo tako radi.❤️
